The remainder of those midweek afternoon games include five Wednesday and three Thursday contests.
The home opener will be delayed for a second consecutive season to enable the completion of the renovation project. The Seattle Mariners will be the first team in on Monday, April 8.
The latest phase of the stadium redo is focusing on the 100-level bowl, with what the team is referring to as “reimagined” seating. Construction began within days of the Jays being eliminated by the Minnesota Twins in their best-of-three American League wild-card series.
As for start times, the Jays will stick with the familiar first pitch of the past couple seasons: Weeknight games at 7:07 p.m., Saturdays at 3:07 p.m. and Sundays at 1:37 p.m.
