Police are investigating goat heads and graffiti left at home near Toronto

July 10, 2025 by garis

Investigators from the York Regional Police are urging witnesses to come forward following a disturbing series of targeted acts of vandalism in the city of Vaughan.

On Oct. 25, a concerned citizen contacted the authorities after discovering offensive graffiti on an SUV parked in their driveway and their garage door near the intersection of Melville Avenue and Hudson Drive. Subsequent investigation revealed two male suspects in the vicinity at approximately 2:14 a.m. Surveillance footage captured one of the suspects approaching the driveway, vandalizing the vehicle, and defacing the garage with graffiti. The second suspect appeared to be serving as a lookout while standing on the sidewalk.

Two days later, on Oct. 27, the same resident reported another incident to the police. They reported finding a skinned goat head had been thrown through their front window around 3:45 a.m. Upon arriving at the scene, law enforcement discovered three vehicles in the driveway bearing spray-painted graffiti and stick figures on the walkway, where a second goat head was found.

On the same day, authorities responded to another call from a homeowner residing in the vicinity of Weston Road and Villa Royale Avenue. This complainant informed the police that they had discovered two skinned goat heads placed on their front doorstep, alongside a threatening message spray-painted on the walkway.

Investigators suspect that all three incidents are connected and believe the same individuals are responsible for these acts of vandalism. It is thought that the second home targeted by the suspects was a case of mistaken identity.
